Dear friends,
It’s no secret that we’re living through some of the hardest times imaginable, but thanks to the support of our community, we continue to rise and meet the growing challenges before us. At a moment when trans rights are under attack nationwide, we cannot ignore the shared fight for bodily autonomy that binds trans justice and reproductive justice together. We’re proud to be loud in our support when so many others remain silent or are
abandoning the communities most impacted. Your solidarity makes our work not only possible, but powerful.
In many ways, 2025 was a year of extraordinary growth for the fund and our team. It marked our first full year as Co-Executive Directors, a transition that has strengthened our leadership model and positioned us for long-term sustainability. We also brought on Anna McGuiness as our new Program and Outreach Director—our first full-time hire since 2022—and elevated Autumn into her new role as Abortion Support Director, expanding our capacity to meet rising need with compassion and care.
As we embraced our expanded mission and new strategic plan, we’ve taken meaningful steps toward solidifying our role as a statewide resource for gender-affirming care. We deepened our commitment to serving every community across New Hampshire by expanding our regional infrastructure, adding dedicated, on-the-ground support in the Upper Valley and the North Country through hiring local organizers. This was also the year we officially launched critical practical support programs for our patients, including childcare stipends and expanding our driver program to suport patients receiving gender-affirming care at Equality Health Center and Lovering Health Center.
Through all this growth, one thing has remained constant: our commitment to showing up for every caller who reaches out to us. Whether someone needs help accessing an abortion, gender-affirming care, transportation, lodging, or simply a moment of compassion in a difficult time, your support ensures we can say, “Yes, we can help you,” again and again.
As we look toward the year ahead, we know the challenges will not get easier. But we also know that our community has never been stronger, more connected, or more determined. Together, we are building systems of care that honor dignity, trust people to know what’s best for themselves, and ensure that no one in New Hampshire faces these decisions alone.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in this work and for standing with us during a time when it matters more than ever. We truly couldn’t do it without you.
In Solidarity,

Our Impact in 2025
Patient Testimonies
“It is truly amazing that organizations like the Reproductive Freedom Fund of NH exist. Life is incredibly unpredictable and you should never feel shame in asking for help. I was very apprehensive to reach out at first, but was very quickly reassured by their relaxed approach and absolutely zero judgement. They also have offered resources that go beyond the time of my procedure, like someone to talk to afterwards for emotional support, which is so so important.”

“After learning about and losing the pregnancy, figuring out how to pay for this was the most stressful part of this experience. This feels like a saving grace.”
“I have three children, two under two, and I just moved into my new apartment after moving out of a homeless shelter. This is such a blessing. I had no idea this resource existed. It’s saving my whole life and my children’s lives.”
2025 Organizational Updates + Programming
After thoughtful reflection and listening to our patients, partners, and community, we’ve updated our mission and vision to include a commitment to expanding access to gender-affirming healthcare. We made this change because reproductive justice and queer liberation are deeply interconnected, trans communities are facing unprecedented attacks on their care, and our clinics and community members are telling us what support is most urgent. We feel we are uniquely positioned to meet the demands of this moment, and we’re excited to expand the work we do to help support more of our community.
Updated Mission
The Reproductive Freedom Fund of New Hampshire removes financial barriers for anyone receiving abortion care and gender-affirming care in or from New Hampshire through direct service funding and movement building, guided by patient need.
Updated Vision
RFFNH envisions a loving community in which every one has full bodily autonomy and can access the affordable healthcare they need whether that is abortion, gender-affirming, birth, or contraceptive care.
To meet these increasingly diverse needs, we expanded our organizational programming.

We were so lucky to have Silas Denver, aka sweatermuppet, join our team as this year’s Artist in Residence! Silas created unique art designs and merchandise, tabled at numerous community events on our behalf, redesigned our zine library, and left us prepared for our next tattoo fundraiser in the spring!

Looking Forward

As we look ahead to 2026, we’re preparing for levels of need we’ve never experienced before. Dartmouth continues to see a sharp rise in out-of-state patients seeking care beyond 16 weeks—but we’re also seeing a significant increase in New Hampshire residents relying on Dartmouth for later-in-pregnancy care. With abortion funds across the country running out of resources, we’ve stepped in to cover the full scope of support for these patients, pushing us to reach or exceed our monthly budget cap more frequently than ever.
Key challenges we’re preparing for include:
- Growing financial need for later-in-pregnancy care: We are covering more hotels, flights, transportation, and procedure costs than ever before. With your support, we plan to increase our monthly abortion funding budget from $20,000 to $22,500 starting in January.
- Rising demand in rural areas: We aim to expand access to medication abortion in northern New Hampshire and other rural regions, where distance and limited providers create major barriers.
- Legislative and funding threats: As New Hampshire’s ban on gender-affirming care for minors approaches implementation, and as federal protections remain uncertain, we are bracing for further restrictions. State funding cuts also mean we are now purchasing safer sex supplies and emergency contraception that were once provided at no cost.
At the same time, we’re growing our Queer Care Fund with a focus on community-driven planning. In 2026, we will launch statewide listening sessions and a comprehensive needs assessment to better understand and respond to the evolving needs of queer and trans Granite Staters.
The needs are high—and rising—but so is our commitment. Thank you for helping us remain a steady, affirming source of support and care for our community. We truly could not do this work without you.
