Launched in 2023, the Queer Care Fund is a collaborative project of the Reproductive Freedom Fund of New Hampshire and 603 Equality, created to financially support access to gender-affirming care for Granite Staters. We started this initiative because we believe that reproductive freedom and trans liberation are inseparable, and that everyone deserves full bodily autonomy.
Since launching, we’ve raised over $29,000, which has been distributed between Equality Health Center and Lovering Health Center to help cover costs for patients seeking support accessing gender-affirming healthcare. Thanks to these efforts, more than 100 LGBTQ+ Granite Staters have accessed this life-saving care, with funds used to cover copays, prescriptions, transportation, and other essential medical expenses. As barriers to care continue to increase, our goal is to grow this effort even further.
With the ongoing surge of anti-trans legislation and funding cuts, both nationally and here in New Hampshire, accessing gender-affirming care has become increasingly difficult. We believe in meeting this moment with creativity and solidarity, finding the solutions we need within our communities. The Queer Care Fund is a 100% grassroots-funded initiative, powered entirely by donations from people like you. We rely on our community to make this work possible.
